WHY DO YOU NEED THIS PRODUCT?

The Canik MC9 is becoming one of the top contenders among the best concealed carry pistols, but the back of the stock 15 round magazines dig into your hand while shooting, and look weird because of the gap behind the magazine. Improve your shooting grip, accuracy, and draw time with this custom baseplate that fits the MC9 15 round magazine(s) in conjunction with a TAYLOR FREELANCE MC9 backstrap! Vastly superior in comfort over the factory grip with no hot spots. This product also improves draw time because you can get a full hand on the grip without fumbling around for the small grip on the MC9. Great for practice or carry.

This product is designed for the CANIK METE MC9, but will also fit and function with the TP9 Elite SC (Sub-Compact), although the baseplate will be slightly thinner than the SC grip.

    NOTE on durability:

This is a new 3D printed product, and durability under a wide range of conditions is still pending. Some people baby their mags, and some people treat them like a hammer. I have gone through multiple design revisions to strengthen weak areas of the baseplate, and  tested these products myself by dropping loaded and unloaded magazines out of the gun repeatedly onto standard outdoor surfaces from shoulder height, with no issue. Normal drops onto surfaces like gravel, hard dirt, grass, sticks, etc. should not cause a problem with durability, function, or cracking. If you throw this magazine onto concrete or abuse it, the plastic may crack. This issue also happens with factory Canik baseplates. Bottom line is try not to abuse it on concrete or boulders. Normal use cases should be fine.

Nylon 12 is by far the cheapest available option to 3D print these parts. Additional options may be available in the future. Your input and feedback is appreciated.
