MC9LS IMPROVED FACTORY BASEPLATE (15+2 round)
Designed ONLY for Canik MC9L / MC9LS. Other pistol compatibility is not certain yet.
This baseplate allows the use of your 15 round Canik / Mec-Gar magazines and turns them into a 17 round mag that works in your MC9L / MC9LS. Here is an example of a compatible 15RD MAG. These magazines do not fit in the MC9LS because the factory baseplate interferes with the magwell, but with this baseplate they will fit.
INSTALLATION:
All you need is a penny (not included)! The penny snaps into the baseplate and retains the metal body so the baseplate doesnt fall off. Re-uses the same spring that is already in the magazine. Easy to install.**
**No durability guarantees, it has not been extensively drop tested, it is simply meant to allow use of 15rd metal mags in the MC9LS so you don't have to buy specific magazines for the LS**.

INSTALLATION:
1. Remove the factory baseplate and the plastic piece attached the the bottom of the spring, these are not used.
2. Compress the spring inside the metal magazine tube.
3. Slide the new baseplate onto the bent flanges of the magazine tube.
4. Slide a penny (you supply this) between the baseplate and the back of the metal tube. Make sure it pushes all the way down so it is not above the baseplate at all see product pictures for correct placement).
7. Test for function by loading and unloading 17 rounds.
